From all walks and stations of life they came, to become a part of us.  We were proud to call them "shipmates".   Their daily tasks, they performed with a smile, making life easier for us all.   Their last task they also accepted with a smile, leaving with us an example.   Though the invisible curtain that separates us from them has been drawn, their lives have been placed in the memory of those of us who survive them, and whatever the future may hold there shall always be moments in our lives that we shall never forget, the moments when their comradship and courage is recalled, moments which brighten and brighten as time steals away.
