"DANGER TO THE REAR"

"Japanese shells splash astern of a U.S. escort carrier during 'Round Three' of the Second Battle of the Philippine Sea on October 25, 1944.  In this 'round', an escort carrier flotilla of the Seventh Fleet fought off a superior Japanese force until the latter broke off the action."
