"A Japanese salvo hits in the water dead ahead of an escort carrier during 'Round Three' of the Second Battle of the Philippine Sea on October 25, 1944. In this action an escort carrier group of the Seventh Fleet fought off a superior Japanese force until the latter broke off the action."
