KISHINAMI survived the Battle Off Samar. Torpedoed by US
submarine FLASHER on 4 December 1944, 270NM WSW of Luzon
Straits.
OKINAMI survived the Battle Off Samar. She was sunk on 13
November 1944, 8NM W of Manila by aircraft of TF 38.
HAMANAMI survived the Battle Off Samar. She was sunk on 11
November 1944, 55NM NE of Cebu by aircraft of TF 38.
ASASHIMO survived the Battle Off Samar. She was sunk on 7
April 1945 while escorting YAMATO to Okinawa by aircraft of
TF 58.
KIYOSHIMO survived the Battle Off Samar. She was sunk on 26
December 1944, 145NM S of Manila by PT-boats and aircraft.
HAYASHIMO survived the Battle Off Samar, only to be sunk
the next day, 26 October 1944, by aircraft of TF 38, 40NM SE of
Mindoro.
AKISHIMO survived the Battle Off Samar. She was sunk on 13
November 1944, 8NM W of Manila by aircraft of TF 38.
