Crewmen aboard the escort carrier USS KALININ BAY (CVE 68) survey the damage caused by the kamikaze attack.  She suffered serious damage when two aircraft impacted the ship shortly after 1110.  USS ST LO (CVE 63) visible in the background, would sink in less than fifteen minutes from the time this photograph was taken.
